We had the chance to bring The MGM Show down to New Beige in downtown New Bedford this morning to sample their brand new menu.

It is now all about pizza, subs, calzones, salads, wings, and empanadas.

What I like about the new New Beige menu is that all of the menu items can just as easily be consumed with full table service in their dining room or bar, or as a grab-and-go midday treat.

Baked vs. Fried Buffalo Wings at New Beige

Right after New Beige switched over its menu, I tried the bone-in Buffalo wings. However, the menu was so new the chef accidentally fried the wings instead of baking them. They were absolutely incredible.

I had a mission today. I wanted to try both the fried and baked bone-in Buffalo wings at New Beige. The chef whipped them up this morning and the three of us tried them, not knowing which was which.

All three of us preferred the same batch of wings, and I was surprised to find out that all three of us picked the baked version of the wings.

A Fan Favorite Makes Its Way Back to the Menu

In addition to the wings, we got the chance to try a fan favorite which is coming back by popular demand. The New Beige fried Brussels sprouts were originally left off the new menu, but made it back. They are served at New Beige with smoked bacon, maple syrup, and a chipotle aioli drizzle.

Pizza, Subs and Desserts at New Beige

Chicken Florentine pizza, Portuguese pizza, and cheese pizza were brought out next, followed by the steak tip sub and Italian sub.

New Beige would not let us leave without trying the desserts. These pictures speak for themselves.

20 Things To See at Roger Williams Park (Other Than the Zoo)

There are over 427 acres of beautiful landscaping, historical buildings and family friendly spaces at Roger Williams Park in Providence. Gifted to the city in 1872 by the last descendant of Roger Williams, Betsey Williams, the park has become primarily known for its amazing zoo. But throughout this historic district listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places, there are plenty of other stunning things to see.
