New Bedford’s “The Crowning Touch” Helps Miss Connecticut Erin Brady Win Miss USA Pageant

Miss Connecticut, 25 year old Erin Brady, won the Miss USA pageant last night in Las Vegas, and a New Bedford gown shop helped make it happen.  Miss Connecticut's gown was from The Crowning Touch on Hawthorn Street, New Bedford.  The boutique, which specializes in pageant gowns, is owned by Maria Neves.  Maria's daughter, Michelle, is a former Miss New Bedford and Miss Massachusetts.

Incredibly, this is the 2nd year in a row that Miss USA has won wearing a gown from The Crowning Touch.
