New Bedford Woman Accused Of Stabbing Man In Road Rage Incident
A New Bedford woman was arrested early Thursday morning for allegedly stabbing a man in a road rage incident.
I honestly don't think I've ever seen someone so happy about being arrested, but 23-year-old Jasmine Carrasquillo looks pretty thrilled with her mug shot.
Oddly enough New Bedford police say it was road rage that led to the alleged stabbing and resulting arrest.
In a statement released by police, Carrasquillo was engaged in a verbal argument inside the 7-Eleven on Cove Road following a road rage incident in the parking lot.
She then reportedly pulled out a knife and slashed the male victim's tires. But she didn't stop there.
Police say she then approached the victim and stabbed him before fleeing the scene.
Carrasquillo was arrested Thursday morning on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon, battery and malicious destruction of a motor vehicle.
Clearly she had calmed down by the time her mug shot was taken.
