NEW BEDFORD (WBSM) — Restaurant owners and food service workers rejoice! New Bedford’s Restaurant Depot location will be opening in just about a month.

A sign outside the store, located in the Fieldstone Marketplace at 500 Kings Highway, proclaims the store is “Coming Soon” with a date of June 25, 2025.

Another sign also says “Now Hiring,” noting that all positions are available and applications can be found at RestaurantDepot.com.

Described as “a wholesale cash and carry food service” supplier, Restaurant Depot is a membership-based warehouse-style store. In order to become a member, one must be the owner of a business or a nonprofit organization and supply documented proof.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, Restaurant Depot did open its doors to the general public, allowing them to sign up for free one-day memberships at the service desk.
