New Bedford Police Investigating West End Shooting
NEW BEDFORD — Police are investigating a shooting in New Bedford's West End on Wednesday.
ShotSpotter, the City's gunshot detection system, alerted police to possible gunshots in the 70-block of Trinity Street at around 3:12 p.m.
Officers responded to the scene. No injuries were reported.
A police spokeswoman was not able to confirm if there was any damage as a result of the shooting, however, according to the New Bedford Police Department incident log, damage was recorded at the scene by reporting officers.
