New Bedford Police Investigating Report of Armed Robbery

NEW BEDFORD — New Bedford Police are investigating a reported armed robbery in the city's West End.

Police responded to a report at about 8:25 a.m. Wednesday of a female who told police she had just been robbed by a man with a handgun in the area of Austin Street and Austin Court.

No injuries were reported. Police are investigating.
