New Bedford Mom Wins Free Roof

The Care Free Homes', No Roof Left Behind contest has chosen its winner and it is Sherri Watkins of New Bedford!

Care Free Homes, a local home improvement company asked the Bristol County community to nominate friends, family, and neighbors for the roof giveaway. Four finalists were then chosen for the community to vote on the winner.

The winner, Sherri Watkins will receive a GAF Timberline HD roofing system at 0 cost thanks to Care Free Homes' partnership with United Way of Greater New Bedford, and GAF.

The other three finalists will receive a gourmet cookie bouquet from Black Tie Cookies and other additional prizes will be donated from Flour Girls Baking Company, Carter’s Clothing and Footwear, Pasta House of Fairhaven, Sail Loft of Padanaram, and Care Free Homes.

This is the second year Care Free Homes has done this program. No Roof Left Behind partners local contractors with deserving and struggling homeowners in their community.
