Six SouthCoast UFO Sightings So Far in 2023
From time to time, we like to keep you updated with the latest UFO sightings across the SouthCoast that have been submitted to the National UFO Reporting Center.
Since the start of 2023, there have been six sightings reported across New Bedford, Fall River, Lakeville, Middleboro and Bridgewater. We’ve laid them all out for you below with some of the most intriguing parts of each report.
Actually, there have been seven since the last time we updated you, with a New Bedford sighting happening on December 20 of last year. In that incident, two friends were walking home from a 24-hour store at 3 a.m. when they both observed a big bright orb in the sky that they described as “not of this world.”
We also get the latest updates from the ongoing saga of the Lakeville resident who has been documenting almost nightly UFO encounters. We told you before about what he claimed to be seeing – large ships with smaller ships that would fly around them, hovering above the tree lines, while earthbound aircraft give them chase in the skies – but now he claims he is having physical marks on his body after observing the ships.
Perhaps the most interesting, though, is the person who had a series of sightings on February 1 after leaving Plymouth and heading toward Somerset.
What started off as three bright lights seen in the sky at about 10:33 p.m. turned into a series of sightings over the course of an hour and over a span of 27 miles.
Could all of these sightings have some kind of earthly explanation? Absolutely. Yet we also would like to think there is something out there, sailing over the skies of the SouthCoast.
Check out the latest UFO sightings in the area and don’t forget to report any strange encounters you may have to the National UFO Reporting Center (and send it to us, too).
