It was Oktoberfest in New Bedford at the State Pier on Saturday and what a great time it was. There was seasonal brews, great food, and even our New Bedford mayor, Jon Mitchell, got in on the fun.

It's amazing how brave people get when liquid courage is involved. I saw bull rider after bull rider get tossed around the bull arena, then Mayor Jon Mitchell stepped forward.

He boldly said, "Twenty seconds," when I asked him how long he would last, and he did it for a great cause, which is the UMass Dartmouth Alumni Fund. So how long did he last? Watch the video and see for yourself.
