New Bedford Families Invited to Fire Safety Night With United Way
Get ready to stop, drop and roll on over to a family fun night both parents and kids will love – and it’s educational, too.
The United Way of Greater New Bedford and the New Bedford Fire Department are teaming up for a special community event that brings fire safety education to life.
On Wednesday, October 9 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., families are invited to the Public Safety Center at 890 Brock Avenue for an evening of interactive learning and hands-on experiences.
A Family-Friendly Evening
This event isn’t your average safety talk. Anyone who attends will learn essential fire safety tips from local firefighters while enjoying a night designed for all ages. Children and adults alike can tour the fire station, explore real fire trucks up close, and meet the hardworking heroes who keep New Bedford safe.
Why It Matters
Fire prevention and awareness are vital for every household, and this event makes safety both fun and memorable.
