Formed in 2001 at the University of Rhode Island, the group's members were computer science majors who quickly transitioned from local club gigs to nationwide tours. Their dedication to keeping Sublime's music alive has earned them a loyal fanbase, especially among those who never had the chance to see Sublime perform live due to the untimely death of frontman Bradley Nowell in 1996.

Badfish's authentic performances have not only led them to sell out shows across the U.S. but also earned them a nomination for Best Tribute Act in the 2008 Boston Music Awards.
