I've been preparing for this day for the last 15 years.

Like many people who attended college, I enjoyed an ice-cold beer on the weekends. Being out of state, I enjoyed drinking local beers from Massachusetts and Rhode Island to make me feel at home.

One of those beers was Narragansett Light, a personal favorite on a hot summer day.

Calling all beer drinkers, chuggers and connoisseurs, there's an announcement out of Rhode Island that's as refreshing as it is thrilling. Plain and simple, if you like beer and want to be the star of a video about beer, then boy, do I have the perfect gig for you.

Narragansett Brewing Company is looking for adults (that means 21 and older) for a special project.

On Tuesday, May 16, Narragansett Beer will be hosting a mystery shoot. While the details are thin and leave us fellow beer drinkers in the dark, I'm confident that it'll be a good time.

If interested, Narragansett Beer is asking you to send your photo, age, height, and name to contact@narragansettbeer.com to be eligible to participate in the shoot.

Oh, and one more thing, Narragansett is on the hunt specifically for anyone with the skill to chug a beer. A skill that I have mastered over the years and can proudly and shamelessly achieve in under four seconds flat. To some, that's rookie status, but to others, it's legendary.

The next decision is yours, choose wisely and drink responsibly, my friends.

LOOK: Best Beers From Every State

To find the best beer in each state and Washington D.C., Stacker analyzed January 2020 data from BeerAdvocate, a website that gathers user scores for beer in real-time. BeerAdvocate makes its determinations by compiling consumer ratings for all 50 states and Washington D.C. and applying a weighted rank to each. The weighted rank pulls the beer toward the list's average based on the number of ratings it has and aims to allow lesser-known beers to increase in rank. Only beers with at least 10 rankings to be considered; we took it a step further to only include beers with at least 100 user rankings in our gallery. Keep reading to find out what the best beer is in each of the 50 states and Washington D.C.
