Tell Mom ‘I Love You’ with Brunch at One of These SouthCoast Restaurants
This is it. This is the year I plan Mother’s Day in advance for my wonderful mother instead of scrambling together plans the night before.
I don’t lack love for my mother, I lack time management, and I think we can all relate to that.
It’s hard to say when it started, but brunch is one of the more popular options to celebrate mothers on Mother’s Day.
When I used to work at a breakfast restaurant in college, Mother’s Day was like our Superbowl.
If I were to guess as to why brunch is usually the top choice for families, it’s probably two reasons.
For one, it keeps the children out of the kitchen and prevents any attempt at a potentially chaotic breakfast in bed.
And two, it guarantees that mom will not have to cook or clean and she may even get the chance to indulge in a Bloody Mary.
Truthfully, I love Mother’s Day because I love being able to show appreciation to the woman that raised me.
It’s a day to remind her that the past 29 years of support and unconditional love have not gone unnoticed, and her guidance over the years has shaped me into the woman I am today.
While I thoroughly enjoy her homemade breakfast pie, I don’t trust myself to make it quite like she does, so brunch is the route I’ll be taking.
But where to go?
Here are some SouthCoast restaurants that will be serving up a special Mother’s Day brunch on May 14th for the special mother in your life.
