The Massachusetts State Police Department have asked Fun 107 to announce that they will conduct sobriety checks for this upcoming weekend.

You can expect to see the checkpoints on Saturday May 2 and Sunday May 3.

Mass State Police aren't saying exactly what time or where they'll be in Bristol County, but you won't need to worry about that if you're not driving drunk.

The Department says the purpose is to educate the motoring public and strengthen the public’s awareness to the need of detecting and removing those motorists who operate under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs from our roadways.

They say safety will be assured, and any delays and inconveniences to motorists will be minimized.
