Middleboro’s Sarcastic Swine BBQ Permanently Closing This Month
MIDDLEBORO (WBSM) — Less than a year after it opened, the Middleboro location of Sarcastic Swine Restaurant & Catering will be closing later this month.
The restaurant will continue its main operation in Abington, its food truck, and running the food service for the upcoming holiday season at Edaville Family Theme Park in Carver.
“It is with a heavy heart that we share some news regarding our satellite Swine location in South Middleboro,” Sarcastic Swine posted to its Facebook page Wednesday. “After careful consideration and evaluation, we have made the difficult decision to close this location.”
Sarcastic Swine said its food truck would also make “occasional appearances in the same vicinity” of the satellite location, which is located in the Capeway Convenience Store on Route 28.
“This way, we can still serve our delicious dishes to our loyal customers in the area,” the restaurant wrote in the post.
The Middleboro location opened in January of this year.
“Despite our best efforts, we have faced challenges in attracting the level of foot traffic and customers needed to sustain this particular location,” the restaurant wrote. “We understand the disappointment this may bring to some of you who have supported us in this area, and we sincerely appreciate your patronage.”
The final day for the Middleboro location will be Black Friday, November 24. Until then, it will be open Thursdays through Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. “with the exception of the final week with differing hours around Thanksgiving,” the restaurant wrote.
