Michael Rock Forcing Huge Christmas Tree Into His Home
So there it was. My Christmas tree was laying on the ground after being zipped down in under 10 seconds by a chainsaw. Little did I know, however, that my adventures with this Christmas tree were just beginning.
This was by far the biggest Christmas tree we've ever purchased. Not only was the tree tall, but the girth of the tree was incredible. I dragged the tree all the way back to my waiting GMC Acadia, where, somehow, my wife and I miraculously willed it onto the roof rack.
We then proceeded to use rope and twine to secure the tree to the roof. Honestly, this was one of the biggest trees I have ever seen mounted on top of a moving vehicle.
We opened up the sunroof and used our glove covered hands as extra security to keep the massive tree on top of the roof. We all learned a little something about wind resistance that day.
When we finally arrived home, the biggest challenge of the day presented itself. How in the world was I going to get this massive tree through the door of my home? The only option was going to be through the sliding glass door. That's when things got interesting.
