Michael Douglas Out In Rhode Island With Stunning Fall Foliage

Iconic actor Michael Douglas returned to Rhode Island this month, for some family time and some serious fall foliage.

He may have been a week ahead of the official Family Weekend at Brown University, but Michael Douglas was definitely getting some family time in Rhode Island recently.

Douglas shared photos on his Instagram of a sunny, warm Southern New England weekend with his daughter, Carys.

Douglas and his children with wife, Catherine Zeta-Jones, are no strangers to the Ocean State.

Several years ago, the famous parents spent Easter weekend in Providence as they visited their oldest son together, Dylan, while he attended Brown University.

Dylan graduated from the Ivy League school in 2022, but now his younger sister Carys is following in his footsteps.

Carys is also a student at Brown University and she recently got a fall weekend visit from her famous father.

From the photos shared by Michael Douglas, we're pretty sure the pair spent some time at Roger Williams Park in Providence during his trip.

And the fall colors were on full display.

Douglas stopped for some family time a week earlier than the official school Family Weekend, perhaps to avoid the crowds and so many other families.

He wouldn't have to be the only celebrity parent in town during Brown University events however. Actress Gwyneth Paltrow's oldest son, Moses Martin, started the Ivy League school this year as well.

Considering how she felt about the capitol city's food selection, she'll likely come back to visit often herself.

The Best of South Shore Bar Pizza
