Meghan Trainor to Host Fun 107 Show
Meghan Trainor grew up listening to Fun 107.
Now the Cape Cod native has landed a chance to host a show on what was once her local radio station.
Trainor was born in Nantucket just days before Christmas 1993.
When she was about 12 or 13 years old, Trainor dabbled in music, singing in some local tribute bands and writing songs when she had time. Her focus was on Bob Marley music and ska, but she was a music lover of all genres.
When she was a sophomore at Nauset Regional High School on Cape Cod, she wrote and performed a song for the troops.
Meghan has spent a lot of time behind the microphone over the past 10 years during her rise to mega fame, but it's a bit different stepping behind the mic in a radio studio than on stage.

Meghan plans on answering questions that the Fun 107 audience sends in on the Fun 107 app.
She'll also share stories about how she is balancing being a working mother and world-famous recording artist.
The Meghan Trainor Show on Fun 107 is set for Sunday, June 9, at noon. Trainor will play a bunch of her own music, of course, but also sprinkle in some of her favorite current Fun 107 songs.
To get ready for the big event, why not enter to win an autographed copy of Trainor's new album, Timeless?
We'd like to thank Trainor and her management company for making this Fun 107 appearance possible. We're sure the star's old neighborhood will be listening. We're also hoping that she will consider doing more radio shows for Fun 107 in the future.
After all, we're only a short drive from the Cape, where she grew up.
