Meet JoJo Siwa in Providence
JoJo Siwa has never attended a convention in her life, but that is soon to change.
Rhode Island Comic Con announced Wednesday that she'll make her convention debut at its Providence event in November 2024.
The singer/musician/social media influencer/reality star will attend Rhode Island Comic Con from November 1-3 at Rhode Island Convention Center and Amica Mutual Pavilion in Providence.

Siwa is wildly popular, particularly with the Gen Z and LGBTQ+ crowd. For her to be making her first convention appearance in Rhode Island is groundbreaking. To be honest, the response to Rhode Island Comic Con's move to invite Siwa might be overwhelming, but organizers are betting that she will be overwhelming in all the best ways.
There is no word, yet, about what character costume she will wear, if any.

Siwa, who broke into show business as a child, is now 21. She thrilled her LGBTQ+ fans in January 2021 when she announced that she was gay, famously saying she had the realization at Disney World.
Siwa fans will be lining up to take selfies and grab autographs from the Dance Moms and Dancing with the Stars alum. An autograph or a selfie at her table will cost $120 each, or an autograph/selfie combo is $220. Siwa is also giving fans the opportunity for photo ops at $130 each. Those charges would be in addition to the price of admission.
Two other additions to the Rhode Island Comic Con lineup are Brian Austin Greene from Beverly Hills 90210 and Anger Management, and Australian actor Many Bennett from The Hobbit.
