Mattapoisett to Be Featured on WCVB’s ‘Chronicle’
For over 40 years, WCVB in Boston has been producing a high-quality, New England-centric TV show that captures the essence of what it's like to live, work and play in this part of the country.
The name of the show is Chronicle, and it airs on Channel 5 in Boston and WMUR in New Hampshire.
It's one of those shows that will always teach you something you didn't know. It's one of those shows that spotlights local, iconic businesses and the people behind them. It makes you proud to be a part of your community.
Not surprisingly, the City of New Bedford has received the spotlight numerous times, as has Fall River. With all of the history associated with those two SouthCoast cities, Chronicle could likely do several episodes each year on one or two parts of New Bedford or Fall River.
Mattapoisett Gets the Spotlight
I don't ever recall Mattapoisett being featured on the show. That doesn't mean it didn't happen, though.

Forty-two years is a long time, and while I enjoy catching Chronicle when I can, I'm certainly not a regular viewer.
Regardless, Mattapoisett will be the star of the show on Thursday, May 9, 7:30 p.m.
The gorgeous waterfront, the harbor, the Inn at Shipyard Park, Salty the Seahorse, and many other things Mattapoisett has to offer will be front and center.
