Watch the East Bridgewater girls soccer team sing the national anthem at Monday night's game.

There's plenty of national anthem controversy these days, but the girls soccer teams from East Bridgewater and Rockland High Schools did more than just stand for it Monday night...they sang it.

According to NBC Boston, the sound system at the field failed and the national anthem didn't play.

After a moment of awkward silence somebody started singing. Soon more players joined in and shortly after the rival teams were singing together along with folks on the sidelines.

The Vikings went on to win their home conference game 3-1.
