I remember the first time I discovered Monty Python.  I was probably around 12 or 13 years old.  I was over at a friend's house and he had found an album packed with all the off color songs.  His parents, evidently, were Monty Python fans and had done a poor job of hiding the record.  We laughed so hard listening to those songs that I had red Kool-Aid coming out of my nose.

After learning all of the songs by heart, we rode our bikes to Blockbuster and rented The Meaning of Life also the Holy Grail.  There are obviously a number of British stars in the comedy troupe, but one always stood out, in my mind.  John Cleese was clearly the frontman, with Eric Idle falling in right behind him.

In fact, John Cleese was so far and away the leader of Monty Python, I actually thought he WAS Monty Python.  I thought that was his name!

If you are someone that enjoys watching the Monty Python films, there is a tremendous opportunity for you!  Imagine getting the chance to view one of the quintessential Monty Python films in the company of John Cleese?  He'll  be hosting a screening of Monty Python and the Holy Grail at the Chevalier Theatre in Medford, Massachusetts.

The special screening will take place on June 8 and will be followed by a question and answer period with Cleese, however, there are rules.  "Absurd and/or ridiculous questions only are requested, please."

There are select tickets still available starting at $85 each for orchestra seats.
