Channel 7 News reports that due to a rise in the diagnosis of Melanoma in young people, the state senate has passed a bill that will no longer allow people under the age of 18 to use tanning bans.
As it stands now, anyone between the ages of 14-17 may go to a tanning salon as long as they have permission from a parent or guardian.
