North Easton’s Langwater Farm Invites the Public to a Massive Tree Bonfire
If you’ve ever looked at your dried-out Christmas tree in January and thought, there has to be a more exciting way to get rid of this, you’re not alone — and Langwater Farm has the answer.
The community bonfire is one of those winter events that feels a little unhinged in the best possible way: hundreds of discarded Christmas trees stacked high and set ablaze in a massive, roaring fire. Now, that's my kind of party.
Beyond the flames, there's fire pits, s’mores, wood-fired pizza, chicken wings, clam chowder, hot chocolate, mulled wine, bourbon apple cider, and local craft beers — basically everything you need to turn a cold winter evening into a good one.
A Winter Night Done Right
The bonfire takes place at Langwater Farm in North Easton, offering plenty of space to gather and meet new friends. If your Christmas tree is still lingering, you can put it to good use. The tree drop-off deadline has been extended, and organizers are still accepting trees to add to the towering blaze.
New Date, Same Big Burn
Originally scheduled for earlier this month, the Community Bonfire was pushed back due to extreme cold and will now take place on Saturday, January 31st from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at 215 Washington Street in North Easton.
