Here’s How to Get Free Parking at Every Massachusetts Town Beach
The SouthCoast is home to some of the most breathtaking beaches in America. However, parking at those beaches can be challenging, especially for tourists. Not only can it be difficult to find a spot, but it can also be expensive. You do not want to roll the dice and park where you are not supposed to, but sometimes paying to park at the beach can leave you with serious sticker shock.
How Much Is Beach Parking for Tourists in Massachusetts?
For example, it might surprise you to learn that out-of-state visitors at Horseneck Beach are charged a whopping $40 for a single day parking pass. Meanwhile, Massachusetts residents with local license plates enjoy the bargain rate of just $14. The price difference is staggering.
Similar pricing situations exist at beaches on Cape Cod, including Dennis and Wellfleet. Depending on the time and day, rates can climb as high as $25 or $30.

Free Beach Parking Is Coming to Massachusetts for One Weekend
Luckily, no one has to worry about beach parking costs next weekend – at least not in Massachusetts. Boston-based Sun Cruiser Iced Tea and Vodka is stepping in to cover the cost. Starting Friday, June 20, Sun Cruiser is launching its Sun Cruiser Beach Parking Payout program.
The brand behind the adult beverage believes fun in the sun should be free. To support that belief, Sun Cruiser is offering to reimburse beachgoers for their parking expenses.
How to Get Your Parking Paid by Sun Cruiser
Fans can visit SunCruiserBeachFund.com and upload their 2025 beach parking receipt from any Massachusetts beach town. Sun Cruiser will send $20 via Venmo to help cover the cost of a beach badge or parking fee.
A spokesperson for SunCruiser confirmed that state-operated beaches like Horseneck Beach are, in fact, included in the reimbursement offer.
