Massachusetts Deals for Teacher Appreciation Week

Many of Massachusetts businesses are providing some great deals for teachers to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week.

While we are always showing our appreciation for teachers, it's always nice to be able to give them a little something extra. This year, Teacher Appreciation Week runs from Monday, May 5 through Friday, May 9.

We took to our Facebook page to see if we could gather up some deals for teachers and here are a few that you may not have known about. Here's what we found out.

Barrett's Alehouse and Waterfront is offering half off any food item for the entire week.

The Studio on Pope's Island, which offers an array of pilates classes, is offering a special deal for teachers. This is especially important to them as the owner, Steve Vaughn, just had his mother retire as a teacher in the music program at Old Rochester Regional High School.

Just email Steve with the subject line "Fun 107." Congrats Angie to get the hook up on that special deal.

The Museum of Illusions in Boston will continue to honor and support educators with free admission for the rest of the year.

There are countless day spas that either provide teacher discounts year-round or are planning to offer a teacher discount during Teacher Appreciation Week.

We certainly hope this list grows and we know many local businesses are struggling, so doing a deal may not be possible. If you are a local business please be sure to in some small way show your appreciation for our local teachers as they patronize your business.
