A raccoon decided to get a front row seat at some batting cages in Massachusetts and instead got himself all tangled up.

Most of the time you, won't find me calling a raccoon "adorable," but in this case this baby raccoon has my heart.

This little guy found himself all tangled up in netting from what appeared to be a batting cage in Belchertown, a small town in central Massachusetts.

He looks so darn scared and his fur is all wet. He clearly got the netting and himself away from the batting cage, but unfortunately had been walking around tangled in the netting until a local resident of Belchertown spotted the little guy curled up on his doorstep in the middle of a rainstorm.

The person's pet dog was acting peculiar and and that's what drew attention to the little guy. When animal control arrived, the poor thing was wet, cold and very scared.

Don't worry, Belchertown Animal Control not only got this adorable baby raccoon untangled, they kept him safe for several days until he got enough energy to be returned back into the wild. According to a recent Facebook update, this baby raccoon got a makeover.

This raccoon is so cute it has even received national recognition from People.

While raccoons may scare you in your backyard or by running in front of your car, they are mostly harmless.

Hopefully this feel-good stuff and dose of cuteness put a smile on your face today.
