Mass Maritime Students Home After Semester at Sea

Massachusetts Maritime Academy students are finally home after 8 weeks at sea.

Students participated in a "semester at sea" in the Atlantic Ocean where they spent 50 days at sea.

Roughly 600 students were greeted and welcomed home by friends and family on Sunday night when the T.S. Kennedy docked in Buzzards Bay.  The students spent fifty days at sea and participated in all types of classes from laboratory training, deck and engine watches and emergency drills.

The students were happy to be home and on land and their families were very happy for their safe return :)
