The victim of the Tsarnaev brothers carjacking, Danny, finally speaks out and describes the events of Thursday night.

The 26 year old Northeastern graduate pulled over his Mercedes around 11 o'clock on Thursday to quickly send a text message when the two suspects approached his car and forced themselves in. Danny remembers thinking "Death is so close to me". Danny taxied the fugitives throughout Cambridge, Brighton, and Watertown for 90 minutes before he was able to escape.

The brothers then took off with Danny's iPhone in the car. That iPhone, combined with 'mbrace', the Mercedes satellite system, helped police locate the suspects later that night. "I don't feel like a hero," Danny said, "I was trying to save myself." Although reluctant to be on TV, Danny shared his experience with the Boston Globe. Click on the link below to read the full interview.
