Man Takes Picture Of Raccoon Riding An Alligator In Florida

This is a scene that you do not see often.

Only in Florida would you spot a raccoon riding an alligator.

According to Scripps Media.com, Richard Jones and his family went to the Oaklawaha River to look at the alligators, when his son startled a raccoon and it accidentally hopped on the top of the alligator in an attempt to escape.

Before the raccoon had a chance to hop off, Jones snapped a photo of the bizarre scene.

The Oaklawaha River is located in central Florida in the Ocala National Forest, which is the second-largest national protected forest in the state of Florida.
