BROCKTON — Another shooting in Brockton last night has left one man dead, according to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office.

The D.A.'s office tweeted at 10:18 p.m. Tuesday night that the man was fatally shot in the vicinity of 987 North St.

He has not yet been publicly identified.

State and Brockton police are actively investigating.

The incident marks the second shooting in one week, after a man was injured in a shooting on Friday, June 3 on Fuller Street.

It is at least the third fatal shooting this year, after 51-year-old Harry Williams was killed in early February and 22-year-old Fabio Andrade-Monteiro was fatally shot just days later.

Suspects in both of the February homicides have been arrested.
