The new Lizzie Borden biopic is officially hitting theaters this Friday. Will you head out to see it?

Last month we shared with you the trailer for the new film Lizzie starring Chloe Sevigny and Kristen Stewart.

The movie is described as "The Lizzie Borden Story for a Modern Generation," and seems to focus primarily around the possible relationship between Lizzie and the family's live-in maid, Bridget Sullivan.

And, of course, how that relationship led to the brutal murders of Lizzie's father and stepmother.

It is definitely not the Lizzie Borden tale told the way you've heard before.

So if you are ready for a new twist on an old story, here's where and when you can catch Lizzie this weekend on local screens:

Picture Show at South Shore Marketplace, Fall River: 12:10 p.m., 2:40 p.m., 5:10 p.m., 6:50 p.m., 7:40 p.m., 9:35 p.m., 10:10 p.m.

Showcase Cinemas, Warwick (Quaker Lane location): 7:25 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
