Now, usually I would just keep scrolling through, but I got to thinking. The Klondike bar is a bar, right? So I wonder why they are using National Ice Cream Sandwich Day to promote themselves?

I guess they don't really have their own day. Ice Cream Bar Day just doesn't have the same ring to it.

Today I'm allowing myself to have an ice cream sandwich. However, I prefer my ice cream sandwiched between two chewy chocolate chip cookies, preferably warm cookies.

The traditional sandwich will do just fine, but just to spike Klondike I won't be having any of those "bars" today. Maybe I will when Klondike comes out with their own day, What Would You Do For A Klondike Bar Day.

I haven't had one of their bars in years. Maybe they can get me back on the wagon or "bar" when they decide to have their own day and stop jumping on my ice cream sandwich day! Then we stop by Stop & Shop and see that Klondike does offer these as well:

Now if Chipwhich would call me, I'd be all about having a few of those today. Weird, though–looking at their social media pages, they have nothing to celebrate today. Hmmm, I smell an ice cream conspiracy! What do you think? Is Klondike trying to take some of the spotlight here?
