The Grammy nominations came down yesterday and we can't believe that Lizzo is leading the pack with a total of eight Grammy nods. She was so taken back with the news that she could barely speak through the tears.

I have to say that I was surprised at how many nominations she received. I mean, I like her music and think she's definitely talented and an artist who will be around for years to come, but when I think of that many nominations, I think of artists like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran.

Some of the other nomination notables are Billie Eilish with six, including one for Best New Artist, and Little Nas X also scoring six Grammy nominations.

The Jonas Brothers are up for one award and so are Camilla Cabello and Shawn Mendes for their duet "Senorita." Speaking of the Jonas Brothers, here's the scene yesterday as they were finding out about their Grammy nod:

Alicia Keys is back as the host of the awards show. The Grammy trophies will be handed out on January 26 on CBS. Kanye West had quite a weekend last week when he was invited to Joel Osteen's church for Sunday Mass in Houston, Texas. Kim said it was an amazing experience for both of them and she also talked about how he had visions of creating his own church years ago.

Imagine if Kanye runs for president in 2024 and wins? Kim would be First Lady. Yikes. 😂
