Don’t Throw Away Your Freestone’s New Bedford Gift Cards
The SouthCoast was surprised last month to find out that one of New Bedford's best-known restaurants was closing.
While people were certainly aware of Freestone's City Grill, it turns out that not enough people were eating there. Ownership of the historic restaurant made the difficult decision to alert staff that they were closing their doors.
If you were wondering what to do with your Freestone's gift cards, make sure you don't throw them away. Even though the iconic restaurant shut down early last month, Freestone's gift cards still hold value.
The restaurant group that owns Freestone's made the announcement on Facebook: Freestones gift cards will be honored at Carmine's at Candleworks, Cork Wine and Tapas and Rose Alley Ale House in New Bedford, and The Profile Tavern in East Freetown.

Some have been wondering about Seize The Deal gift cards for Freestone's. You have two options. You can either email support@seizethedeal.com or call 866-210-0881, Monday-Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. You can also use your Freestone's Seize the Deal certificates at the same restaurants listed above.
Don't worry about the expiration date shown on your Seize the Deal certificates. Even if your certificate shows an expiration date of July 24, 2024, the certificates will be honored past the expiration date because Freestone's closed before many people could use them. The July 24 expiration has been delayed through the end of August 2024.
