Singer John Legend was in town Sunday night, taking the stage at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium as part of his "An Evening With John Legend" tour. Fans have been buzzing about the performance ever since—but for some, the excitement didn't end when the show did.

A few lucky fans got some unexpected face time with the singer when he was spotted out and about on Federal Hill the following night. Like many visitors, Legend seemed eager to experience the Italian cuisine the neighborhood is famous for.

A Surprise Sighting on Federal Hill

His destination? Ristorante Il Massimo, a longtime favorite that is no stranger to famous faces. Over the years, the restaurant has welcomed stars like Russell Wilson and Emma Stone, cementing its reputation as a go-to spot for modern Italian dining in Providence.

On Monday night, John Legend joined that list of high-profile visitors to this Federal Hill favorite when he was spotted outside the restaurant taking photos with fans and staff.

His tour continues tonight in Syracuse, NY before wrapping up in Charlotte, NC on May 17.
