James Patterson and Bill Clinton Writing a Novel Together
James Patterson says he is very excited about working with the former President on his first ever writing project.
The Novel is titled, "The President Is Missing" and is expected in book stores and online in early 2018. It's said to be about his personal experience while he was in the oval office. Clinton said in a statement that, "“Working on a book about a sitting President – drawing on what I know about the job, life in the White House, and the way Washington works – has been a lot of fun, and working with Jim has been terrific. I’ve been a fan of his for a very long time.”
President Clinton is a huge fan of James Patterson and his novels, loving suspense and thrillers. And Patterson says, “Working with President Clinton has been the highlight of my career, and having access to his first-hand experience has uniquely informed the writing of this novel… I’m a story-teller, and President Clinton’s insight has allowed us to tell a really interesting one. It’s a rare combination – readers will be drawn to the suspense, of course, but they’ll also be given an inside look into what it’s like to be President.”
What do we want to know? Will Bill mention his controversial visit to New Bedford while campaigning for his wife Hillary. Remember, he was at Buttonwood Park's Warming House and the big question then on everyone's mind, "was he standing to close to the warming house?"
