‘Jagged Little Pill’ Providence Run Will Feature This ‘Insane’ Showstopper

Providence Performing Arts Center is getting all the great shows this year. Next up is Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill. 

It's been years since I spent some time with the Jagged Little Pill album but, and I'm aging myself here, that album got me through junior high school. The old Normandin was a war zone back then.

Thinking back, I'm pretty sure I knew every word to every song on that album. It may have been one of the first CDs I ever owned. I recall this album being extremely relatable, especially now as an adult.

Jagged Little Pill, the musical, is touring the country and stopping at PPAC for eight shows starting on Jan. 17.

If you are an Alanis fan, then you will be singing along to all the songs and I hear that one song, in particular, will give you chills.

I caught up with one of the cast members from the show, Lauren Chanel. She plays Frankie Healy. Here you'll learn how she ended up on tour with this show and her favorite moment of the musical.
