David Lee Roth Will Make a Massachusetts Stop During 2026 Tour
Massachusetts will be treated to entertainer extraordinaire David Lee Roth this year.

During my youth, I was a big fan of David Lee Roth. Yes, I preferred Roth over Hagar in Van Halen, even though Sammy had the better chops, technically speaking. Dave had the swagger. I remember the first song that got me interested in Roth's solo career was Just Like Paradise. I saw the video on an episode of Beavis and Butthead, of all places. When I saw it, I thought to myself that I had to see and hear more, so I picked up a copy of the Skyscraper CD.

Over time, I bought most of Roth's catalogue on CD, including Crazy From the Heat, Eat' Em and Smile, A Little Ain't Enough, Your Filthy Little Mouth, and DLR Band. I also had the opportunity to see Roth live. The first time was in 2002, when he was on tour with Sammy Hagar, and then again around 2012 when he was on tour with Van Halen for the A Different Kind of Truth tour. Those were some fun shows. I will say the man knows how to entertain.
David Lee Roth Will Perform in Massachusetts in 2026
It was recently announced that Roth will be touring in 2026 from April 16 through August 7. One of his shows will be in Massachusetts as he and his band will be performing live at the House of Blues in Boston on May 24. You can also check him out at a few places in New York, including Proctor's on May 26, along with a few more shows in the Empire State, but the House of Blues show is the only Massachusetts show on Roth's 2026 jaunt as of this writing.
