USA Today Food Writers Named Two Massachusetts Pizza Shops Best in America
If you find a great pizza place, you want to let others know about it. At least that's how I feel about it and apparently, the Food Writers at USA Today feel the same. They have named two Massachusetts pizza shops as the best in America.
Pinocchio's Pizza in Cambridge Has Some of the Best Pizza in the Country
If you haven't been, you need to get to Cambridge, Massachusetts to try Pinocchio's sicilian pizza. The ingredients are fresh, they don't overdo the sauce and the crust is light and delicious. I have been there and can attest, it's some of the best pizza I've put in my mouth.
Celebrities often come into Pinocchio's and people who maybe aren't celebrities yet. Mark Zuckerberg, who went to Harvard, probably went in to this place many times. It was speculated in a Phantom Gourmet segment that he may have invented the "Like" button for Facebook while enjoying some tasty 'zza.
There was another mention of Pinocchio's in an episode of "Suits." Check it out below:

This Pizza Shop on the Cape Has Some of the Best Pizza in America
You might have to take an even longer road trip to get to Palio Pizzeria in Hyannis, but maybe it will be worth the drive? It's open year 'round, so maybe wait until after the Tourists are gone.
The USA today writer wrote that Palio has a "Cape Codder" pizza which is described as a white-based pizza with garlic, mozzarella, lemon, shrimp and clams. That doesn't sound like something I would order, but hey - you do you.
