How Hurricane Michael Will Affect the SouthCoast
Another hurricane is about to make landfall, but will Hurricane Michael affect things on the SouthCoast?
As Florida prepares for Hurricane Michael, you may be wondering where the storm will head next.
The path of the storm does have it charting up the eastern seaboard a bit, but nothing so serious should be coming to the SouthCoast.
According to ABC 6 meteorologist Jeff Desnoyers, as long as the main influence of Michael stay's South (which it is looking like right now), all we'll see in Massachusetts is some rain.
The remnants of Hurricane Michael will be moving northward throughout Wednesday and Thursday, giving us on the SouthCoast some wet weather for Thursday and Friday.
And though you may need an umbrella as you head out to work or school for the end of the week, Desnoyers says the rainfall totals won't be so bad with most of the storm staying to our South.
And prior to the storm actually bringing us rain, it seems to be the cause of our mid-week warm up.
The tropical air Hurricane Michael is pushing will be giving us a near 80 degree day on Wednesday before things turn rainy for Thursday and Friday.
And by the weekend, we're back to cool, crisp fall weather again!
