As the saying goes... You don't lose weight just by working out, but by eating healthy.

I have a confession to make:

Since I started working mornings here at Fun 107 about 4 years ago, I've had a lot of trouble with my weight. Between sitting down for hours at a time to the endless amount of food that comes into this building, it makes it very difficult to keep the pounds off. I slipped into a state of mild obesity and lost the will to run or do any kind of cardio.

I was depressed with my weight and health.

When I first met Michael Glassman a couple years back, he had introduced to me his program. He explained to me how eating healthy, fresh foods that  are good for you will make all the difference. I should have listened to him then.

At 301 pounds, I knew I needed to do something. I know I didn't look completely overweight, but believe me when I say that at 6'4"... the fat has more surface area to spread out. Regardless, I still felt awful, and this was what I looked like:

The next phone call I made saved me from spiraling down a fast unhealthy path... I called

I was once again re-evaluted by Glassman and his team of nutrional specialist, followed by an 8-week food plan.

I was nervous.

I kept telling myself, "How is a big guy like this going to eat such small portions and be satisfied?". The results were shocking.

Not only was the food delicious, but it curbed the hunger cravings IMMEDIATELY! Every meal left me feeling "just right"... not too full and not looking for something else to munch on. Who knew?!

Throughout my time with, I noticed I was shredding weight like crazy and with my busy schedule, I had a difficult time getting to the gym. That didn't matter. I was still somewhat active while cutting out toxic foods that were taking over my life. Eventually, I saw a different person in the mirror and the "bad for you" foods weren't as tempting as they were before.

The date is now June 7th, 2018 and I'm officially down 52 pounds with the help of

Each week I drive to one of their four locations, especially their grab-and-go locations in Dartmouth (between Bishop Stang and Not Your Average Joes) or in Fall River (the new Plan-It Eats) on the side of Al Mac's Diner to pick up my meals. The relief of NOT having to cook or prepare my meals for the week is an incredible feeling, so if you're someone with a very busy schedule, this could be just what you were looking for when it comes to eating delicious, healthy food.

It's Dairy-Free, Gluten-Free, and taste just as if you ordered from a prestige restaurant. How could you go wrong?

Eating healthy and eating GOOD food changed my life...And I'm here to tell you that I'm not done yet.
