Fun 107 is getting involved in the 1st Annual Walk to benefit the American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders, APFED’s HOPE on the Horizon Research Fund, which will take place at Fall River's Bristol Community College on Sunday, September 20.

Registration will begin at 8 am and the festivities kickoff at 9 am.

A type of white blood cell that helps fight off certain types of infections and parasites are called EE-OH-SIN-O-FILLS. When these cells are elevated in certain areas of the body, an EE-OH-SIN-O-FILL-ICK disease may be present. These cells can be triggered to respond to food and airborne allergens, by releasing toxins into the affected area.

EE-OH-SIN-O-FILL associated diseases have been on the rise and they are an emerging global health care problem. There is no cure to stop the disease.

For more information, or to register for the walk, visit the website for the American Partnership for EE-OH-SIN-O-FILL-ICK Disorders at www.apfed.org.
