As you may have heard, the average price for a home in Massachusetts was on the rise in June and hit an all-time record high median price of $610,000 for a single-family home.

That was the thought that crossed my mind when I heard this news and it made me curious about just how much more bang one could get for their proverbial buck.

They are similar in many ways and yet completely different. Keep scrolling to see what the Massachusetts median home price could get you both here and in other popular spots for SouthCoasters.
