Help Save the Turtles of the Tri-Town and Beyond

They obviously take a bit of time getting from one side of the road to the other and could use a little help once in a while.

I see this more and more in the spring and summer months... The poor turtles!  It doesn't take a genius to know that turtles are slow. C'mon, give them a break!  So often we are pinched for time while driving to and from everything we do in life and we're not paying attention to the creatures on the side of the road.  One wrong hit and these little guys are goners. Often times turtles get knocked and then spin out of control until they are on their backs and you know what that means... now what?!
