Here's a chance to help the planet and eat free pizza.

Domino's New Bedford has partnered with New Bedford Energy Now and Next Step Living Home Energy Solutions to provide free pizza to anyone who completes a home energy audit from April 10 through May 10. If you complete a home solar assessment you will also be entered to win a $50 Domino's pizza party. Nelson Hockert-Lotz, owner of Domino's Team New Bedford, said that the purpose of this partnership is to remind people just how important reducing your carbon footprint is. “Home energy audits can save you money and reduce your family’s carbon footprint with simple measures," said Ken Ramos, Director of New Bedford Energy Now, “and there is no cost to the homeowner.”

Domino's is one of the sponsors of 'Sustainable Southcoast" AHA! Night located at the New Bedford Whaling Museum on Thursday, April 10 from 6-8 p.m. This event encourages Southcoast residents to come and participate in Earth Day activities including the Earth Eve Parade, the largest people-powered parade in New England. “We’re hoping to give away hundreds of pizzas in partnership with New Bedford Energy Now and Next Step Living Home Energy Solutions,” said Hockert-Lotz.

Come on out, learn how you can reduce your carbon footprint, and who doesn't love free pizza... especially from Domino's.
