The Dartmouth YMCA invites families to get into the Haloween spirit at Dartmouth YMCA Halloween Harvest Festival & Haunted Trails event on Friday, October 25 from 5 to 9 p.m. This event is free for families to attend and pumpkins will be available for carving or painting for $5 each. Donations for YMCA Southcoast's annual campaign will also be accepted and greatly appreciated. Activities will include; hayrides, pumpkin carving, arts & crafts, rock wall, archery, and lawn games. After dark, the older participants can walk the haunted trails and tell scary stories by the campfire while still having the option to craft or carve pumpkins in the pavilions.

Volunteers who are middle-school or high-school aged can sign up through the google form to help set up the event, run activity areas, dress up in costumes for the haunted trails, and to assist with any of the activities to gain valuable community service hours.  Volunteers will meet at the YMCA on the day of the event from 4 to 5 p.m. to discuss the event details and assign volunteer jobs.
