Gazelle ‘Sings Out Against Hunger’ To End Childhood Starvation
"Sing Out Against Hunger" is making the annual return to Evelyn's Drive In in Tiverton, RI and Gazelle is ready to go make a difference.
On Friday, August 11th, SOAH-Rhode Island is kicking off their 2016 concert from 5PM-9PM.
Each year, my brother and I sit down and come up with a short hour-long playlist to perform. Taylor (Brother) and I call ourselves “Brotherly Duo” and we’re simply equipped with two guitars and our vocals. Each set contains about 10-15 songs.
Along side us are multiple other acts including Gary Fish Tree-O, Michaela & The Little Necks, and Maureen Corbett.
All are welcomed to join us and enjoy delicious, fresh seafood and entrees as well as ice-cold refreshments while you relax under a water-side tent and listen to local talents. There will be a ton of raffles to give away to local businesses and fun gift baskets. Donations for non-perishable foods will be collected at the event as well.
Founded in 2003, Singing Out Against Hunger was created to provide nutritious food for our neighbors in need and to raise awareness of their ongoing plight. In cooperation with local merchants, volunteer musicians and civic-minded people, Singing Out Against Hunger raises thousands of dollars each year through the free musical events, raffles and donations. We believe that self-expression, through music and the arts, a volunteer spirit and the talents of individuals will help to rid the East Bay communities of hunger.” – SOAH
