Gazelle Sentenced to One Hour of Jail Time

We all knew it was inevitable. I'm going to jail.

Not to worry, though, because this isn't a real jail, it's actually a fundraiser to help raise money for cancer patients.

Ladies and gentlemen, Jail N' Bail has made its way back to Fall River's 99 Restaurant for its fourth year and I can't wait to be apart of it.

Now, before you get all concerned, I am not really being arrested. This event is held annually to raise money for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I'm being told that I will be "arrested" on Wednesday, July 31 at 6:30 p.m., but the event will be held from 5:30 to 9 p.m.

You can expect to see State Representative Carole Fiola as well as Fall River's Police and Fire K9 Joseph, Mimi Larrivee of the Boys & Girls Club, and Miss Quequechan locked up beside me to help raise money for a great cause.

My bail is set at $100, but the Jail N' Bail event staff is welcoming as much as you're willing to give.

Let's be honest, there isn't a better place to grab pub cheese and crackers, ice-cold beverages and of course delicious hot off-the-grill grub. So come down and join me at Fall River's 99 Restaurant and spring from jail, won't ya?
