Fun 107 Playlist – June 2015 Top Songs [VIDEO]

It's a song written in tribute to the late Paul Walker and it's become one of the biggest hits of the year.

This month, Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth have the biggest hit on Fun 107 with "See You Again" from the Furious 7 soundtrack.

Puth is actually the one who wrote the hook of "See You Again" and can be heard playing piano on the track as well. He says he was surprised that he was asked to sing on the final version with Wiz, thinking the record label might look for a more popular artist.

But the combination of his emotional chorus and Khalifa's powerful lyrics really create a song that seems to speak to a lot of people.

And the emotional track is clearly a hit. Since it's debut on the Billboard charts, it has managed to become the fastest song to ever climb from 100 to number 1 on the Hot 100. It took "See You Again" just five weeks to do it, breaking the previous record (held since 1959) by one week.

It was also the first song to dethrone "Uptown Funk" from the pop charts and this past week earned it's number one spot back from Taylor Swift. Not too shabby!
